My name is Sylvie, and I am a passionate French teacher with 25 years of experience. Originally from France, I moved to the USA in 2009 and have since dedicated my career to helping students of all ages master the French language. I've created Frenchly Made in August 2024 to share my passions with you.
As a French certified teacher (Education Nationale), I have taught in both France and private schools in California, and I hold an International Baccalaureate (IB) certification. I offer personalized French tutoring for students from elementary school through college, specializing in AP and IB French for high schoolers. As a proud mother of two young adults, I understand the importance of nurturing a love for language, and I strive to inspire my students to embrace the beauty of the French language and culture.
In addition to my interest in the French language, I have a true passion for cooking and baking. There's something truly satisfying about creating a delicious meal for my loved ones, whether it's a home-cooked dinner for my family or a special treat for my friends. French cuisine, in particular, holds a special place in my heart, and I'm eager to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with anyone who wants to learn cooking. I believe that cooking should be enjoyable and accessible to everyone.
